After the first week of whatever caused the SHTF, be it natural or caused by man, and the city dwellers start roaming, the wild meat WE hunt will be non-existent, our electric and gas will be gone, the next step is banding together with family and trusted friends, but we are going to need meat at some point because the cows, sheep, chicken, pigs, birds, etc. will be gone.
So, my question is:
Will you eat the city folks that come to steal from you, I just hope they taste like pork, maybe chicken, I have a good grinder. My only concern is the vegan eaters, I don't think they would be very tasty.

In a real SHTF situation, most people won't live long enough to get very hungry.

It will depend on numbers. If there are enough of them they will neutralize you and take all your stuff. This is why I only keep enough supplies for about a month.
