read the text below : Eagle Chase Bank closes in 10 minutes. Banks are closed rest of today and tomorrow. ATMs don't dispense more than $1,000. I understand you need to sell to the first buyer with cash. If both are available on Monday I will buy both for your asking prices which adds up to $1,400 if I read Zidaho correctly.
I can meet in Nampa or anywhere in the Treasure Valley Monday after 9 am (after banks open) up to 11; have a repairman coming noon to 3, then after 3. If they sell I understand. A couple of stores around here have the Glock 40 as well, just charging more does it sound like scam? he is trying to buy 2 guns without any discussions.

Sounds to me like he just doesn’t have enough cash on hand and won’t have enough time to get to his Bank before it closes.

Sounds to me like he just doesn’t have enough cash on hand and won’t have enough time to get to his Bank before it closes. i offered him to give a small deposit and i keep the guns until monday , waiting for his response. my gut feeling is "scam" but i'll wait. anytime someone is giving you a long winded explanation , good chance is a lie.

I’ve met several Campfire members on a sale like that. They have become good friends. But, of course, they were well known posters here.

I usually have my Marine son ride shotgun on deals like that and tell him to stay on his side of the truck. I like to keep people honest. Cash, guns, people you don’t know and usually meeting at a random place. Call me paranoid.

scammers won't take the guns , they know it's a serious crime. info he provided so far : 1-he lives in Eagle ( near Boise ) 2- he banks at Chase 3- He has an appointment at noon. 4- he wants to buy two guns without asking for a rebate. 5- " ATMs don't dispense more than $1,000." this is the most revealing. i'll keep you posted.

If it was Craigslist, the giveaway would be that they'd call it an 'item' and would send someone to get it with a cashiers check plus they'd add $100 to your asking price as a bonus. I've seen that many times. Of course the cashiers check would be fake and they'd be long gone with your stuff when you found that out.
