So that rifle has a sole, you ended up footing the bill. whistle

I've done that on a couple of rifles. Lightweight and inexpensive. Two layers do a pretty good job of reducing recoil on heavy kickers.

laugh Very funny.

All I did is cut out a flip flop to shape, used contact adfesive and did a final shaping with a bench grinder.

Definitely wouldn't use someone else's rank footwear. That close to your nose would cause accuracy issues.

Maximum use of available resources.

And I wear sandals.................................not flip-flops.

Good to see they can be used for something at least.

Island wife thinks we're funny here, having different shoes for everything. " You have walking shoes, water shoes, hiking shoes, tennis shoes, biking shoes, work shoes, dress shoes, and all those boots!" They somehow get along just fine with flip flops. However, now it's everything imaginable besides flip flops! Not lady Marcos bad, but plenty! I can't wear the dang things, they go sailing forward on the first stride!

What also works great is the garden mats for women to kneel on. Some are cushy cush while others are more firm.
