I just ran across one of these in like new condition. Nice looking rifle. It's in 308. Sporter shaped stock not the featherweight with the Schnabel forend. I haven't fond much info on these. At least not many at all in short action. Anyone familiar with this offering? Feels surprisingly light for having a laminated stock. Bet it weighs less than a classic featherweight 270 I once had.

Had one in .280. sleeper rifles. That laminate stock is pretty, light, and strong. Loved it. Sold to my BIL. Let me know if you don't snag it....I may see if the seller will ship it!!

Green or brown laminate?
More green was the wincam; more brown was the wintuff. I personally prefer the looks of the wintuff. Congrats!

Brown. Win tuff. Sure is a nice looking rifle. Blued with brown laminate and a red pad. I really like the slimness of the stock.

I use to have one in .243, I bought it new in the mid 90’s.

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.
