OP earlybrd Campfire Ranger E Joined: Nov 2015 Posts: 15,531 Likes: 29	Been hunting this old boy 3 years never layed eyes on him except trail cam pics.Pin pointed his location 2 weeks ago multiple pics on one trail coming off a steep ridge.Hunted that trail Saturday morning in the monsoon rains and fog needed a cold clear morning to hunt my #1 spot.Steep ridge with a terrace the deer use for a trail marked by multiple head size cedars tore all to hell every year.Right after daylight 2 does came running wide open above me 50 yds and went over the top of the mountain.I kept watching the direction they came from nothing behind them he went around the hill and cut them off being smart but ran them back 50 yards above me not so smart on his behalf.
