I don't think the situation is very complicated.

Trump thought he was going to be the power candidate for the GOP in 2024 and he didn't expect any other candidate to gather as much support as Desantis has. Trump thought he would only have to face a bunch of "Jeb!"s in the primaries.

Now here comes Desantis and Trump's ego causes him to go off the rails before either he or Desantis have even declared for the nomination.

Driven, competitive men with leadership qualities are *always* going to have big egos. But Trump sometimes allows his ego to get him into trouble.

The midterms were pretty much a bitter pill for Republicans to swallow. Desantis and Florida was the biggest bright spot for the GOP,...and Trump steps in and schits all over it.

Very bad judgement,...very bad look.

Most you guys got it all wrong.

This is an EPIC fight for control of the Republican Party. It is a fight to the death.

Because if these criminals manage to get rid of Trump, in any form or fashion, the Republican Party is finished. Their voter turn-out will be 50% or less then historic numbers. They stand no chance of ever winning an election of any kind.

Draining the swamp is a bigger job then Trump thought. Even some who he trusted are up to there necks. And fifty of them even had there picture posted with there lies.

He wasted his first two years in office when he had a GOP majority in both the House and the Senate, by fighting Twitter battles with anybody that didn't kiss his azz. His ego is just too big for the job of president. But, I'll hold my nose and vote for him again if I have to.

Never could keep his damn mouth shut. As somone who donated to his campaign multiple times, it's too much for me. I'm thinking Lake/Noem/DeSantis, etc. are the future.

Being that there are so many whacked up people in this country now means we have to run someone decent, but perhaps not exactly a perfect conservative.

If the Democrat Party had Satan as their candidate, he would receive as many votes, probably even more, than if they had God instead.

I doubt if Trump will run. It would be against the law. He's either making sure DeSantis gets elected or he's outing him as a Rino.
The Bush's are backing DeSantis along with the Lincoln Project to name a few of the Rino Republicans.

Great example of someone who can be successful, but still manage to be a complete loser.
