Hey fellas, anyone have a source for replacement claw extractors?
Got no love from Williams/Brownells/MWGS/Numrich/Wisners.
Thanks!

You looking for pre 64, classic or BACO? Your best bet is pre64.com or ebay.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Just curious...I've never had one fail, break or bend. Why did yours fail? Dremel "improved"?
Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Looking for Classic New Haven Magnum RH. I rescued one from a pawn shop and the prior owner(s) did some hack work on it. Got it for a song, so can't "really" complain

Let us know what it's for. I have a spare for pre-64 70 I'd sell dirt cheap as I have no use for it. (I bought it thinking I would make it work on a 54 but then found a mint 54 extractor. Funny how stuff like that seems to always go.)
The extractor on my 54 .30-30 was dodgy. It worked ok but it looked like someone dressed the nose of it with a Dremel, probably trying to make it snap over the rim of a chambered round easier. The new one does that with aplomb so I don't know why they did it to the original one in the gun when I got it. What's the word here, should the extractor snap over the rim on a 54 .30-30? Mine does now.

BTW, what's the difference in the "Dash -1" etc like other ads on flea-Bay?

That should do the trick. I'm not above buying stuff on ebay.
