I am looking at getting a carbon fiber tripod to use for glassing and potentially shooting from. I am looking at the SLIK 833 and was wondering what I would need as far as a head or is there a combo that I am missing that would serve me well?

I use the 834 and a Sirui VA 5 head and i’m real happy with both. Can’t help you with shooting off it.

The Sirui VA5 or the Revic FH1. The Revic can hold more weight. The size of the spotter should determine which way to go. Feel free to call me tomorrow, between 8-5 and mention the forum for special pricing
