Classy Barbecue Guns have have been shown here many times before. How’s about now we see some really gaudy guns any white fur fedora wearing whore wrangler would proudly brandish to intimidate a competitor or a troublesome “client” who’s shown some reluctance to pay in full. I’ll start off with this modest offering: A somewhat subdued example, I’m afraid.

Not a 1911 but it's a pimp gun IT MOST CERTAINLY IS! And, that handle is really something to get a good grip on, too. Holy Smoke! What have I started with this thread?

There’s just gotta be some kinda story behind that gun. Was it taken off some arrestee? Is the other end of that string attached to an evidence tag?

There’s just gotta be some kinda story behind that gun. Was it taken off some arrestee? It was for sale at a pawn shop. Someone spent a lot of money for the engraving. I wonder how much the custom grips cost. It even has some veins for extra grip!

It even has some veins for extra grip! That’s just DEE-freakin-SKUSTING! But unfortunately, still humorous.

Until mentioned, I hadn't even noticed that the grips are a cock.

Not a 1911 but it's a pimp gun Because of this photo, I felt compelled to change the title of this thread, expanding it to include any Pimp Gun, not just 1911s.

Not saying this one, but something along these lines... The collector in me would love to have a proper border style Colt .38 Super, nickeled with the silver engraved grips. Yeah, they're hideous, but they really were a thing in Mexico, and for many in the US who lived in the border region. Many a famous lawman had one in their collection and some even carried them for themselves. Often it was just the sliver grips on a blued gun; kind of a working man's pimp gun. Some were even done well. I'm just a firearms history nut, so such things occasionally appeal to me. I think every serious fan of firearms ought to have some guns that are just for kicks...the more the better!

Oh that bottom one makes my eyes water... Call it “The Cluster Gun.” And, if that’s not a proper pimp’s gun, … It even references dope. There were other photos of different embellished surfaces which I didn’t have the nerve to post here. This one is extremely mild by comparison: But, the message conveyed is entirely consistent with it being a pimp’s gun.

Not as fancy or titillating, but classic old school pimp gun. Nickel plated Colt .32 with pearl grips, as in, "he got a .32 gun in his pocket for fun..."
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

I'm remembering the movie Boondock Saints 2, Romeo picked out a couple guns... "Do these make me look gay?" If you know the movie, you know the scene
"Camping places fix themselves in your mind as if you had spent long periods of your life in them. You will remember a curve of your wagon track in the grass of the plain like the features of a friend." Isak Dinesen
