It is a Garcia era import and has the double border on the checkering when they still put the time into the production of these rifles. It also has the "Micro-grooved" rifling. It isn't Marlin rifling, but the finer rifling with more grooves. These guns tend to shoot better than the others with 4 grooves. I would guess it has been carried much more than it was shot. The stock and barrel show plenty of wear, but the throat and bore is nice and the bolt face shows no sign of abuse. The pictures show it well. The action alone is worth the cost...$599.00
