……..this two way adjustable stock hardware? Took this one off a stock I refurbished several years ago and have found a use for it but I need a second unit exactly like this one. It looks similar to what McM uses but I haven’t yet found an exact match. The only reference I can find to the word inscribed onto it is some town in Alabama…..

Can't say who made it, but target shooters use adjustable butt plates like that to get the exact right fit.

If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

As other's have said, you're looking for a vertically adjustable butt plate for position rifle. Many companies have produced their own variations over the years, and the dimension of the dovetail has varied with manufacturer.
If the McMillan doesn't work, check in with Champion's Choice, Warner Tool, Alex Sitman at Master Class Stocks. The McGee's no longer produce stocks, but Steve and Shirley might have some leftover parts.
If you find no joy there, check eBay for a Freeland vertically adjustable butt.

...by the way, that scribble on the plate reads "Opelika". I know a shooter there...I'll see if he has any clues.
From the wear pattern on the plates, I'd guess it was off a prone gun...maybe smallbore?
These were generally produced oversized then ground to fit the contour of the stock. It's unlikely you'll find an exact match, but if you buy "new" you should be able to grind to fit.
