Some years ago, I bought 2000 158 gr. Rem. HP jacketed bullets. I recently read an article that said only a few powders could safely be used to fire these in .38 spl, otherwise they will lodge in the barrel. I have thousands of 38 spl brass and only .357 mag. revolvers. What powder and primer combo can I use to fire these bullets. I have a few loaded with 158s and 10 gr. of 2400 and a mag primer. What do you guys think. I have lots of 2400 and quite a bit of Unique. What would be a good load?
I do have .357 cases, but got to using the 38s and they are much nicer. I prefer a bit less blast than the mag loads.
Thanks for your help!!

11.5 grains of that 2400, or 6 grains of the Unique should do nicely.
