For years I have used 165gn Nosler BT bullets in my Browning Stainless Stalker .300 WM with great success; however, I have heard so much about the Barnes TTSX bullets I finally broke down and ordered some. I have been loading my 165gn Nosler BT's with RL19 and have enjoyed great accuracy - My question is: Will the same powder loading for the Nosler's work with the Barnes, or would you recommend using other powders? Thank you,

I can't think of why the same powder wouldn't work with the charge weight tuned to the new bullet.

I used Reloader 22 with the 165’s in my 300 win mags. I’m sure 19 is just as good

I used to use RL 19 with the old Xs in my 300. Been thinking about going back to Rl 19 and 165s as I had good luck before. Recently bought some 165 TTSXs to try too.

I tested a few powder and primer combos with the 165 TTSX in .300 Win Mag. 70.6 IMR 4831 with a F210 worked best. Did not try RL19.
Some combos could run them up to near 3200, but found right at 3100 was the best. 24” 1:10”.
The F210 cut groups in half compared to the F215. Never had a hang fire with the 210’s, but hot weather is more common for me than cold.

Try H4350 with it, that way you won't have to worry when it gets really cold....I don't care for the temp changes in R19, but that just me. I had one bad experience , just one time in a 338WM. Turns out I'm more "OCD" than I thought after that! ha Lots of guys love R19, for real. If you have it, use it! Around here, I have loaded (and several friends load) the 168 TTSX in 30-06 to 300WSM. Usually the 300WM users go with 180 or 200. I myself used the 180 XBT for years but now just use the 175 LRX in my latest 300WM load. Its a real killer. I used the older 165 XBT from a friends 300WM in Namibia on a big Gemsbuk cow, real wicked! And the TTSX is better IMHO. I never recovered either a 165 XBT, 175 LRX nor 180 XBT from any game I used them on! I love them! You will too! Good luck to you pard!

I have tried RL19/22 loading TTSX 165's in my .300 Win chambered rifle's and they shot those RL powders fair but my rifle's shoot H4350 best .....Good luck....Hb

I had great luck with TTSX 165's over RL22 in my 300WM. Worked well on 6 plains game animals (up to kudu) last fall.

Have had good success with this load in 5 different 300wm including two Browning SS and surprisingly one X bolt Hells Canyon with the 8 twist barrel. Expect around 3250fps.
Life is good live it while you can.
