Hey just trying to get an idea what a gun I have is ball park worth…… I have a Ruger .44 mag semi auto carbine according to the serial # it was manufactured in 1978. It has a Leupold vari-x-III on it. I would say it is in good to very good condition. I am looking for a ball park value. Thanks in advance!

1000 bucks without scope if in good shape. Lots of demand in midwest for straight walled cartridge deer stated

Lot of folks looking for those. 1k in good shape and no splits or cracks in the stock. Add a couple bills if the scope goes with it.

Buy a box of ammo and go shoot it. You might not be in any hurry to sell it afterwards.

Accurate enough for the intended purpose. 2 " or so on the ones I've been around. Plenty good enough for a 44 mag in the woods . Nice handy little rifles, 10/22 on steroids pretty much

At least $1300.. High demand rifle and if the condition is accurate. My father had an International model and it sold for $1000 20 years ago. Accurate too.

Only problem with them is there are zilch parts and ruger no longer services them.
800-1000 tops without the scope.

I bought an early model last year at an estate sale and paid $600. I did a total disassemble and cleaning and gave the stock a tru-oil refinish and the gun looks like new. Mounted a 2-7 Leupold and it shoots 1” @ 100 with factory Federal 240’s. NO, it is not for sale. I would believe an auction could bring you $900 plus.
