I have not heard of the 750, but i have a couple 740's which were the predecessor to the 7400 semi's.

If you can look for a 750. I have had both and the 750 has a better gas block design. Keep the chamber clean and the rails greased and u have a reliable rifle. Love mine in carbine configuration

Any thoughts to getting a 7400 '06 rebored? That may be cheaper and easier. Just a thought.
