Before Christmas, my wife said she wanted me to get a new gun for Christmas but we wanted to wait for some cash flow. I figured sometime around March I'd be looking seriously. I found a Winchester 1873 deluxe in 44-40 for sale by Bass Pro shop. I called the store in Utica NY and gave the man my cc number. Two days later I got a call from Bass Pro in San Jose that my rifle was in. I drove over there, did the dros and I will pick it up tomorrow. There were no extra charges for shipping it across the country. I am one happy camper.
