Its in good shape and is a good deal but it not an easy open frame.

Its in good shape and is a good deal but it not an easy open frame. How can you tell ? I have a Gen 1 that TC converted to easy open, also had the centerfire/rimfire hammer conversion.

That is a an easy open frame. Look at the pin hole above the trigger.

That is a an easy open frame. Look at the pin hole above the trigger. That is correct. Also, that high of a S/N also indicates an EZ open frame, IME.
Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession.

That is a an easy open frame. Look at the pin hole above the trigger. Thanks AP ! I`ve had the Contender since 81. You tend to forget these things as time goes quickly by  Bump for the OP.

May I suggest you clarify that that is clear tape holding the pin in the front of the receiver?
When I first looked at it it looked like the finish was blemished
And you said it was good
Now I think I see that’s tape not a finish issue

Yes like said above, there is clear tape holding the pin in, and not a finish issue. Sorry I thought it was clear in the pictures

Original Contender frames had a different safety (cross pin) and you needed a screwdriver to convert from shooting rimfire to centerfire. The easy open frames had the selector switch type safety, center position being safe.
