Too late now, but I would have done a Euro skull mount. Bases show he was an old buck, that's what I like.

I like the the idea of the semi sneak, ears back with the head turned to show of the extra beam.
Congrats on a heck of a buck.

Another vote for left turn, semi-sneak, ears back!

Revolution has some great forms that are different from other companies. I had one done on there curious alert form. Straight form with a curve in neck.

Decided to go with a Mears SS to the left, but the Taxidermist is going to mod the Mears form to look similar to the Revolution relaxed sweep. He actually had one in his shop that he was modifying exactly as I wanted, that he had just finished up, so it worked out perfect.
It is going to be interesting to see the finished product, this deer had neck measurements of 23" at the base of the head, and a 27" swell measurement 3" below that.

I suggest a wall pedestal with left turn. A second option is a floor pedestal where you can walk around it. Good idea.

Hey Slicky, nice deer, congrats I killed one like that when I was hunting with Ronny in TX. Here is how I got mine mounted.

Personally I'd do a euro mount on him, but then again I'm very picky about what I get shoulder mounted. If I figured I'd need a pose to make him look bigger then he's not shoulder mount worthy, even if he's cool. The cool ones are the ones people want to hold and look at different angles anyway, euro is perfect for that. Just my .02. He's pretty neat and unique for sure!
