Knives belong in your pocket or on your belt!

Clips are for loading magazines!

There I said it, I feel better now... laugh

Every Day Bourbon

Every Day Carry.

Cheap knife, but this is the third one in 2022.

Do not care for carrying fixed blade knives either vertical or horizontal.

From time to time, will carry a cant.

Mre trouble to fish a knife out of a front pocket than if it is clipped to the bottom pocket seam with the leg, either leg.

Refuse to carry a "walk n' talk. Gotta be a lock blade.

I refuse to carry a flipper, an auto or any other knife point up.

Works for me.

ya!

No Jim Beam and certainly no Coca Cola products these days. Your knives belong wherever the hell you want them to be. laughing

I’ve tried multiple times over the years to carry with a pocket clip. Done trying. Scrapes my hand when sliding hand in pocket. Worried it’ll pop off. Scratches against things.

I’ll stick to regular pocket carry only. Typically a trapper.

Why I quit using the clip:
Clips rip up your pocket edges
Lose knife when clip snags and gets pulled out

Having said that, I keep the clip on my spyderco delica I've carried 25 years. Most of the time the clip is a money / DL / Credit card "money clip"

The spidey knife has made it through several security points by holding the money up and on top of my cell phone. Just hold my thumb on top of the exposed knife end...

I took the clips off every Spyderco as soon as I got it.
I carry pocket knives in my pocket. I like to fondle them there. Maybe I should leave the clips on and put them to use?

Most of my pocket knives are GEC and older Case lock backs
Fixed bags get carried in a backpack only
I don’t find them very fondable anyway.

Not a fan of clips myself. I remove them. Not a fan of wearing my knife on a belt either. I carry mine in my pocket. If Im hunting then I have a knife in my pocket and a bigger on in my pack.

I prefer a small fixed blade Dozier with one of their kydex horizontal sheaths on my belt for EDC.

Mine goes in a pocket sheath and then in my pack.

I'm fine with the clip staying on just don't like them clipped on my pockets, same issue as above constantly reaching in pockets to get keys, flashlight, pen etc scraping on my hands I just carry them in my pocket.

Starting to re-think a clip after losing my Al Mar police md, late this fall. I think I know where it could be, by a log I sat on deer hunting, but have to wait till the snow s gone.

If it doesn’t have a clip and a round hole in the blade I don’t want it. Never lost one. JMO.

I'm a big fan of clips when I'm using, pocketing, using again... Every day (in winter) I put hay out and cut strings. When I've got gloves on it's so much quicker/easier to grab it if clipped at the top vs in the bottom of my pocket. Aside from times like that, I carry it inside my pocket and the clip rarely bothers me.

My EDC is an older serrated Buck 442 that came with a clip, but I removed it. Not a fan of clips, but use 'em if you like 'em.

Cutting hay strings with gloves on, is SO much easier with these, than ANY find of knife..... old sicklebar tooth in a handle.
