Tried some moly coated 100 grain TSXs in my 257 Weatherby SBGM. Brass was R-P 270 wby brass necked down to 257. Federal GM 210 primers. RL-22. I am at work and don't have my notes but these are the approximate speeds:

71.5 grains--3700
72.0 grains--3730
72.5 grains--3765

Velocities were very consistent. No signs of excessive pressure. Best groups were about an inch but I had the bullets seated deep (3.21 COAL). I'll play with the seating depth on the next trip to the range. I might also try some RL-19 since these bullets probably act like lighter bullets due to the decreased bearing surface.
