My wife and I have had the fireplace lit since this afternoon when the temps dropped. We repositioned the dog's bed over near the fireplace. Naturally, he immediately gravitates to it, and won't move. You have to step OVER him to tend the fire! I guess it's true that pets seek out warmth, and a cozy fireplace, a comfy dog bed, equals Heaven to a dog!

One of life's greatest pleasures is a happy dog in the house.
Don't be the darkness.

One of life's greatest pleasures is a happy dog in the house. I will agree with this. I miss having one but it sure is nice not having one too.
I am always looking for factory wood stocks!

Sure your dog has a fireplace. Doesn't everyone's? But did you install special low windows for them to look out from floor level, when not using the high lookout?

The only true cost of having a dog is its death.
