Anyone have any experience with the CVA Cascade in 6.5? I was wanting one in 7mm-08 but they quit making them in that caliber. Thoughts? Is the trigger adjustable? It will be a deer hunting rifle not lookingg to shoot 700-1000 yards. Thanks in advance

Very functional accurate and economical rifle. The only rifle that is guaranteed by the company and if you don't like it you can return it for a full refund in 14 days. Can't go wrong for the price.

Check out YouTube lots of videos on accuracy reviews

My brother bought one in .308 and said his first 3 shot group was 3/4 inch. I'd been wanting a .308 myself and found a cascade XT for a really good price.

My first impression was it's a little front heavy but the XT has a fluted #5 contour barrel. The cheap stock is stiffer than some other cheap stocks I've handled. I kinda of lice the soft touch feel. The barrel is floated all to hell, but my barrel is just a smidge off center. My brothers non-xt is nicely centered and floated.

Barrels are cerekoted. Trigger is pretty decent. Supposed to be adjustable, but I haven't messed with it. It's pretty good the way it came.

I put a tract toric 2-10 on it. I shot it the other day when it was a little windy. I shot one group of 5 with some 167 scenar Lapua factory loads. Group was about 1.5 inches. I shot another group with federal 150 blue box stuff and it did a smidge better.

I just shot another group this afternoon. It was pretty calm. I shot another 5 of the 167 Lapua factory loads. Much better group today.

Couple pics. Fluted bergara barrel. Big bolt handle. Threaded with a brake, bot I just put the protector on. Never used a brake. Looking forward to trying some hand loads.

I have one in 350Legend, 450 BM and 308. Nothing bad to say about any of them. Shooting only cast because I have all the cast bullets I want. Good triggers, stocks feel great, actions are smooth and the cerakote on the barrels is an added bonus. Great hunting rifles.

Fondled a Cascade Short Barrel in 350 Legend a few days ago. Not a bad gun. Kind of hoping that it becomes available in 409 Legend.

Anyone have experience with the SB model? I've got a chance to snag one pretty cheap.

I have an SB in .350 Legend (waiting on the suppressor still). Great little package that shot well out of the box. One range session and then a dead buck.

Well, I couldn't resist and made an impulse purchase for an SB model today in 308 that was on sale. Build quality seems quite good for the price and I'm impressed with the trigger.

I bought one new from a guy who found another rifle he wanted more. It even had three boxes of 143? gr ammo. I put a Burris FFII 3x9 on it and it was an honest 1 1/2" shooter. The trigger adjusted down under 3# and was crisp/creep free. It was well made IMO. I sold it to a young man. I will say it was kinda "clunky" during feeding a round. Could stand some work smoothing up the rails. I think they are worth the money. I've heard nothing but good reports from others.

I haven’t handled one yet but everything I’ve seen and read on the XT sure makes me want to get one. Seems you get a lot for your money with them. Thanks for the report y’all have given hopefully to see more honest reports like these.

If you have a Dick's Sporting Goods in your area it might be worth checking them out. I picked up the rifle above at a pretty heavy discount because they are apparently not going to carry hunting/gun related products anymore.
