(asked this on the rimfire section as well): Working on a Remington 5mm Model 592M. Bolt handle has been broken off at the base. Are these handles threaded into the bolt body? Didn't want to go in there with an easy-out if they are braised or tack-welded.

I have located a 581 bolt body w/handle and will purchase it for the handle if threaded for an easy fix.

I have Ctually drilled and tapped the bolt, made a new threaded bolt then silver soldered it in. Reason for that is there isn't a lot of meat so this really locked it in. Maybe if I can find pics I will put them on.
