Sako S20 in 270W, if it matters I have both the precision and hunter stocks but this gun is for hunting from raised stands in the woods and along the edges of smaller fields - no 500 yd bean field shooting.

Have 2 scopes on the shelf, a 3-9x40 Trijicon Credo and a Leica Amplus 6 2.5-15x50i Ballistic BDC Riflescope, both NIB.

Really debating which. Gun is a bit heavy even unscoped, argues for the Credo. Leica is superb glass but heavy. Most shots will be 200yds or less, maybe a few 300+. Like most deer hunting these days where I hunt, dawn and dusk, 30 minutes either side, is where I am most likely to be shooting. Not a stalking gun at all. I have some others for that if I get in the mood.

Thoughts?

RAS

If it matters I do have other uses for either that fit well.

For that application I’d go with the Leica. Save the 3-9 for a backup scope.

I agree with DM.
