ok , so I was reading the post about a woods 1.5-6 scope and seen where gpo scopes was mentioned. looked them up and see they have a 1.5-9 x32 which sounds good to me. Anyone working with this scope ? What ya think ? Good for medium bore rifle like a 35whelen or bigger ? Easy to get behind or critcul eye relief ?

The way things are made now it's a lot more difficult to place quality manufacturing simply from country of origin. However, I'm old too and have never bragged yet about anything being made in China.

I don't want to have to use the friggin warranty. Tell us which companies out there don't have warranty returns? Swarovski? Leica? Zeiss? Leupold? Nikon? I've had more problems with Leica's and Swarovski's than all others combined. Swarovski's customer service department is great, because they get lots of practice. Good luck with Leica.

Sightron is offering a 1.75-5 that's made in the Philippines. I don't have any experience with that model, but I have had good luck with the Japan Sightrons.

That's what quality control is all about The CCP controls EVERY business in Communist China. The CCP are not innovators but steal, cheat, and copy intellectual property. Good luck in getting some of this crap serviced in a few years when it breaks. Why are you constantly supporting and promoting CCP made product when there are so many other viable options???? Vortex Razor 1.5-8x32These were discontinued a few years ago. I just picked one up used on ebay and like it a lot. I'd call these guys to verify that the scope is actually in stock before ordering if you're interested. They're made by Low in Japan, if that's acceptable. Dan
