Alliant on the shelf of the shop I hit.
I need to grab some RL7 while he has it.
The last time that bear ate a lawyer he had the runs for 33 days!

I was in Bruno's last week, and the floor was lined with 8lb kegs, most of it VV, no Hodgon H-1000, 4350, or Varget, but that was the most powder that I've seen in awhile.

I looked at 30 cal bullets at Midway yesterday and they had all sorts of every flavor. I was surprised.
Keep your powder dry and stay frosty my friends.

Too close for irons, switching to scope...

One thing very disappointing to me is the price gouging going on with Brownell's and Sinclair, I used to buy quite a bit from them, but they have gotten ridiculously expensive, they have Varget for $54 a pound +haz mat +shipping..........NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

""""now if only primers would follow suit""""
Like the shortage 08 - 16 Obama years, people are trying to stock up on primers, ''now'' . They run across them and buy up as much as they can. A friend in florida [tight-wad] bought 5,000 CCI LR primers a few weeks ago. He never bought 500 in his life, he'd buy them 100 at a time. Being a primer-hog at a time like this kind of screws other shooters.

The primary reason there are not a lot of LR and LP primers available because most primer production is going to SR and SP primers. Don't know when that is going to change.
And yeah, I can't decide if Brownellls/Sinclair's powder prices are breathtaking or plumb insulting......
But I'm seeing a lot more sale priced items on the shooting websites, suggesting demand is decreasing.

Well you sure can’t find Alliant powder in my part of the country. It crazy I must shoot the same bullets and same powder as 80% of the shooting world. My stuff haven’t been available for over a year.

It seems very regional. I've had to do most of my reloading purchasing online for the past few years.

now if only primers would follow suit Damn, that is great. I was in town looking at what the LGS had and they have an 8 pounder of Hunter for $260. I've been thinking about buying it. If shipping is free, might as well buy through powder valley though. Midsouth has it listed at $220.00/8 pounds, which is not bad at all. I don't know what the price is at powder valley. Hopefully somewhat comparable to midsouth??? I was at Scheels the other day and they had a bunch of bullets. I bought some of these for my new 30-06: Their 180gr SST's were priced at $31.99, which seemed like a good deal too. I should have snagged some of those, now that I think about it!!!
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

$89 for a 1000 not much better. But needed them. And it looks like Powder Valley has them for $79 per 1k.

Paid a bit over $40.00 per pound for Varget Just under $30.00 per pound for CFE223 plus hazmat & shipping defiantly more than I have paid for powder in my lifetime.
When I am paying a bit less than 27.5 including shipping & handling for surplus Ramshot Tac in bulk, the price of the cafe 223 does not seem too bad. Then I am old enough to remember Dad complaining about $9.00 per pound for IMR 4895 when I was a kid.

Primers are showing up here. A LGS had small rifle, but 79$/1000. I passed. Sportsmans had small pistol 4.50 per 100 limit 2. I picked up two.
