As a fun fact the corner breaks on the front of the cylinder are "Seyfried Scallopes"
When S&W did the first M29/629 MT guns they copied a custom revolver Ross Seyfried had with the leading edges of the cylinder scalloped.
You have a very nice revolver. I always heard it referred to as “black powder bevel.” It is definitely a nice touch that all revolvers should have.

Nice Revolver Mannlicher. The 625 Mountain Gun is on my short list, that an the 617 Mountain Gun. They had a 22LR Mountain Gun? Never heard of that. Yeah One run. Think it was around ten(?) years ago. IIRC had the IL wart, wanted it anyway. To me it was the perfect Model 17; no heavy barrel or ridiculous underlug, like it's big brothers... a perfect pack'in pistol. They were gone quickly, and of course S&W in their infinite wisdom has not seen to do another run. Jerry

TK custom made my 45 Colt MG into an ACP as well.. I picked on up second hand last winter that had been cut for clips/acp. I have really enjoyed it. Very fun and functional gun.

Grips are VZ, I really like them and have them on J, K, L & N frames.

Any Smith with a hole in the top, side of the hammer has the firing pin mounted in the hammer.
Frame mounted started in dash 5 in 629 & 7 in the 625.
