I did watch a Boxer soak down some bunny rabbits at PetSmart once. Haha
They were all on their hind legs accepting the golden shower from the extended territorial hosing

Dad decided us boys needed more chores than we already had, besides milking the cow, raising calves for the auction and butcher, the horses, chickens, garden... he figured we should raise rabbits to sell to the meat buying lady.
Occasionally a mother would eat her babies, I'd club that bitch and another female would get a chance for a longer life rather than on someone's plate.

We had a couple hundred rabbits at the peak of about 3 years in the late 60s early 70s. About 5 years ago my truck broke an axle up elk hunting in the mountains. Dennisinaz, here on the fire had a friend that had a trailer we could borrow to go up and haul my truck back on.
The guy lived in our old house, I lived in that house from age 7 to 18 and we moved in 1975. When I told him that it was our old house my dad had built he said...so you were the rabbit people...
We were still famous in the neighborhood 40 years later as the rabbit people... funny chit...

Black lab likes to catch wild young ones, play with them for a bit, then gulp them down.
Not sure how many squeals it takes to trigger the 'just eat the damned thing already', but it's always 20 minimum.
