I have a Security six that I am trying to take down. I have the Kuhnhausen shop manual and in take down instructions there is a recommendation that I use the "plunger popper" from brownells. Of course brownells doesn't make or sell it any longer. Any leads on one would be appreciated.

They're handy, but totally not required. I had better luck searching for a Ruger Security 6 disassembly tool rather than the popper. And all that got me was a photo to jog my memory.

The owner's manual says the hammer strut can be used. But when at home with tools, I prefer a small to med screwdriver as the pry bar.
