There is no such thing.... Exactly^^^ Guys always making excuse for not shooting. There's also the guys that own 100 rifles with Leupold rifle scopes that never shoot those too. That would be a good thread topic. Then there are guys that hunt and kill all manner of critters with 1 1/2" three shot groups. I can carry on... Any pics of these 1.5" groups?!?!😉🤣😉🤣 Extra points are awarded if they (groups) were shot in a gentle breeze!

I've got a couple I never hunted with, but never shot?

An AR 6.5 Grendel I’m just finishing up loading for and two little lever guns I just bought out of a family members estate. Winchester 9422mag and Winchester 9422 S-L-LR.

I have three that I've never fired. One rifle is a pre '64 Model 94 and the other an unmolested waffle top Marlin 336 in 32 Special. Then there's a Ithaca 12 ga SXS that hasn't been fired by me.

Ruger African 275 Rigby. No plans to shoot it, don't think I've even put the bolt in it.

Winchester model 70 ultimate shadow 30/06 still in the factory box. It has never had round shoot through it unless the factory test fired it.

Nope, nada. Grew up in a home with hundreds of long guns. Dad collected. We had many Winchester lever action commemoratives that were never loaded, shot or even triggers ever pulled (unless at the factory) He had a commemorative A5 Light Twelve that marked the 2 millionth A5 made. I think the serial number was in the 800 range. Only 2000 made I think. That damn gun never even saw the gun case. Stayed in the top of his closet. Never even saw it put together.
I swore I would never have a gun I would not shoot at least a few rounds from.

Only one, and that's a Parker Hale Mauser 98 Sporter in .375 H&H. Clearly built to be an Africa big game hunting piece. Multi-leaf express sights and all. Don't know why I bought it. Impulse, I guess, just to have an "elephant gun."

1 several yrs ago. 1981 Marlin .375 Sent it down the road. And recently a nice mid 70,s TC Hawken. Sent that down the road. So that makes 2 rifles in my lifetime so far out of probably around 85 to 90 I have had.
Hand guns... many of them sent down the road unfired. Upwards of 10 or 11 probably in my life time so far out of about the 35 ish I have owned.
I have 6 hunting firearms and 3 wpns. They all have a purpose.... They all have been fired obviously.....
I can't imagine having 120 125ish guns if I had never sold or horse traded a single gun in my life.
What cluster fuuck night mare of choice for use that would be to me. Emotions and steel really don't meld for me . Practically, simplicity, usage, and steel meld for me.
Of course others MMV on that opinon about having alot of guns.

None anymore, volume for the sake of volume lost its shine. If I don't shoot it or it doesn't have a purpose I don't need it around. Lately been on a consolidating kick. Built in redundancy for ammo purposes.

Unfortunately, a bunch, can't seem to find enough time to get out and shoot as much as I would like. Doesn't seem to keep me from buying them though. Sooner or later I will have time and they will be there.
