There was a guy that had some epic drunken rants years ago that was making tents. I thought maybe it was him too but wasn’t sure.

I think that was the dude from Lost and Found. I think they went out of business. Could be wrong.

You're correct he was the Lost & Found guy. He was funny when he was drunk, people wanting one of his custom tents asking questions, he'd tell them they weren't getting a tent.
He finally drunk up his customers money and couldn't finish their tents.

Randy Newberg was a universally unliked insurance agent when I knew him, he is apparently the best thing since sliced bread on that forum.

Whamblasted was the guys handle here on 24HCF… Bought a tent from him and it was first class all the way. He lived in Wyoming somewhere as best I can remember.

Greenhorn, Buzzh and Brad are 3 peas in a pod. When one gets called out, shortly the other 2 show up in support. Buzzh is so full of himself and has such a following on HuntTalk that few will dare challenge him.

Here, he even has a fan base, but few of those know of Buzz’s true character and the 2 that do and still follow his lead are Brad and Greenhorn.

I have weathered a few storms on HuntTalk with them, but you don’t do well over there questioning Buzzh or Greenhorn.

I posted about a good fall elk hunting on HuntTalk and got lambasted by Buzzh and Greenhorn. Buzzh comes here to brag about his fall, I said something and it turns into another cat fight.

Busse has a bigger pussy than his wife, it seems like she is the one converting him into a liberal! Sad.

One thing to remember is the hunting/fishing community (and Internet forums) includes the same political demographic as the US population as a whole.

Depending on whose numbers you use , the US is broken up fairly evenly with Rs and Ds (@ 40-45% each) with Independents making up the rest. And independents are evenly divided between right or left leaning.

So 1/2 the people on outdoor forums are going to be leaning to the political opposite of you. The problem is (IMO) we no longer have a common culture that unites us . The current indoctrination system did that. It’s why the US is in decline and is going to fail. United we stand, divided we fall. Unfortunately The US is irrevocably divided.
