So with all the fraud and scammers out there are there any specific organizations where we know 100% of donations go to the cause and truly do the best for those in need.

I don't know about this one, but after the Indonesian tsunami some years ago, I saw a list of the organizations who collected donations and the % of the money that actually got there. The top 50% of organizations were all church based led by the Mormon Church and the American Baptist One Great Hour of Sharing. Those 2 were 98%+. Close behind was the Catholic church followed by a number of other churches. What really stood out was that there wasn't a single secular organization that was over 50%. A few donated less than 25% of their collections.
