There is a Schultz & Larsen for sale on GB in that caliber. Never heard of it and not finding much about it. I assume it based on the same belted magnum cases from the 300 H&H but less taper and a sharp shoulder.

It's listed in Ackley's Book #1; looks to be about like a .270 WSM ballistically, just slightly less than a .270 Weatherby.

Thanks - the 7x61 makes some sense since that was a somewhat common chambering for Schultz & Larsen rifles. The guy is selling it for a neighbor who inherited it and neither know anything about the caliber. My fear is the twist would be 1-12 which also seems to be common for S&L rifles which strikes me as odd given how popular the 6.5x55 with long heavy bullets have been in Scandinavia.
