Got it in hand. 8.8lbs with a SS 3-9 mounted.
Seems like a nice, one and done rifle for other than deer here in AK. Have 250's enroute. Hopefully all the stars align with accuracy and velocity and I will have what I was after. What barrel contour are these ?

Ordered one today from euro optic. A-holes make it way too easy to order over the phone. Enablers. They know who I am from my phone number, who my FFL is, and have my cc on file.
I went with the black coating to make the spiral flutes less hideous.
338 win mag, 1-10 twist.
Will report with 230 Eldx and a ss-3-9. That looks fun.
I probably hit more elk with a pickup than you have with a rifle. I have yet to see anyone claim Leupold has never had to fix an optic. I know I have sent a few back. 2 MK 6s, a VX-6, and 3 VX-111s.

What barrel contour are these ? Not sure. A few things with these rifles hat would probably give guys pause. Swirl flutes which make cutting barrel a no go. The stock has an interesting palm area. It's like holding a ball. Not an issue for me as I pretty much roll with whatever, but someone more particular could really hate the stock if they are used to a more traditional feel. It has a long magbox and seems plenty light enough for everything but long distance backpack hunts. Recoil pad seems a bit weak too. We will see how bad it kicks.

I bought a PH2 in October, put about 40 rounds through it and sent back to Seekins for service. They have had it a few weeks and expect it to ship back tomorrow. The reason I sent it back was unusual bolt body wear, and I indicated the bolt "drags" and wasn't smooth. Per conversations with their techs, the bolts have very tight tolerances and is the reason why the bolt seems sticky. Not sure I am on board with that as all my other rifles, either factory or custom have a much smoother action. The small amount of range time I have had with it has shown promise and I have no doubt it will shoot sub MOA. We'll see when it returns this week and I'll follow up with what they found. It apparently went through the shop once and then was rejected and send back for more work by shop foreman. Chambered in 6mm CM.
Otherwise, I am happy with my purchase, just wish the action would have been QC'd before leaving Idaho.

Interweb research indicates bolts that feel like they get hung up on a few rifles. Their customer service certainly appears to be top notch. I would love to have one in 7PRC.
