I have a couple pounds of AA4350 that I have been struggling to find a use for. it is not interchangeble with H4350 like other comparable numbers.

Can I use it for 350-500gr loads in 458win mag?

How about 250-286gr loads in 9.3x57?

Google is not helping me here

Some folks use slow burning powders for Cast Loads in the 458 but otherwise, AA4350 is too slow for good use in that case. I would guess the same for the 9x57 as well. Varget and or 4064 range is about as slow as is useful there.

While AA4350 is not "interchangeable" it is incredibly useful in the same cases as is H4350 and IMR 4350.

Ditto Fury01.
Expect a lot of unburnt powder in .458 WinMag
but you might be able to use it with 600-grainers or the 735-gr bullets with some efficiency, and increased recoil.

AA-4350 did about as well as H4350 in .375 WbyMag trial, near interchangeable on the lots I had,
and it has been used a lot in the .375 H&H.

9.3x57 with heaviest bullets might work better than the .458 WM.
I have not done that either.

Thanks fellas was just looking for a way to use up 2#. Maybe I'll give it a shot on the 9.3. Just throwing both of them at pigs so not super concerned with a little velocity just wanting to be safe

It will work fine on the 9.3x57. I use rl 16 (same burn rate as imr 4350) in a 9.3x62. I was looking for lower pressure in a 101 year old oberndorf sporting Mauser. I dont want to crack the original stock.

Your loads will be 100-150 fps slower than full power loads.
