Do a search in the classifieds, there’s a guy who paints stocks.

It's not difficult to DIY. Stone textured base.

I've painted a lot of stocks on rifles....as posted above, its really not that hard.. and they've come out as well as the examples shown by Wyoming Coyote....

but if you have no desire to do it yourself, I entirely support sending some business to another campfire member, especially one of our younger members who could use the money....

I painted a bunch of them for members here. I use Duracoat and have 2 different textures I can add for grip. I'll drop you a PM.

Another vote for DIY. I've done a bunch of them. Rust-oleum base coats and Krylon white Marbelizing patterns.

Here are my Weatherby Vanguards. The top one is chambered in .300 Wby that I put it in AA Fancy walnut. The bottom two are a .308 Win and a .223, both in Weatherby's Griptonite stocks. I like the feel of those grips so I mask taped them before painting.

Years ago I did a similar paint job on the factory Tupperware stock of my Remington 700 7mm RM, but I liked Weatherby's Griptonite stock so much that last summer I took it out of it's Rem stock and put it in a Weatherby Griptonite stock that I painted a black base and white Spiderweb.

And for years I've called my Rem 870 in it's black Tupperware stock my "Ugly gun" so I added some "style" to it with a Spiderweb paint job.

Does anyone use the same stuff that McMillan uses? If I remember right it is or was an automotive paint developed by Sherwin Williams.

I have a couple McMillan eyesores that could use help!
