If you like the competition, why did you cut me and T off? Well, T is clearly a low life sh:t eating dog, but all I did was ask about your world reccords. This really hurts.

When the dust settles around here I'll do just that, OK.

I'm growing tired of this p:ssing match. I do have other interests that are much more fun. So here's the deal, Ole Charley can withdraw gracefully or go down in flames, the die is cast. I played this game to my satisfaction and have defended myself rather well from the constant attacks coming from the peanut gallery. My participation ends next week, as I have other commitments.
Funny how things turn out sometimes. I came in and turned the tables on the same azzholes that flamed me in on the other post, call it predestination if you like. Now, I have a fairly nice guy, who by the way wasn't the target, by the balls and just may have all his money tied up for quite sometime, because your mouths and his ego are running wild. Stop a minute and just think about it. Did you really think this bet would be settled by, I said, he said? These large wagers are usually settled inside the hollow'd walls of the Courthouse, and I might add that would be several years down the road. Children like a good fairy tale, and you have in the last few days have seen one unfold before your eyes. Ignorance is perpetual in some families. When you breed bird dogs you get bird dogs. The same applies to morons.

That bear was a 10 footer, not all that big, but certainly not small.

DFC,
That's a damn big bear.Did you go with a rug or did you go for a full body mount?I'd go for the mount personaly.

We've got BIG black bears here-have a honey hole that doesn't get hunted for bears because it's a ten mile pack in on foot.Have seen several in there that will go well over 500 pounds. Will be chasing them this winter with my 378 stuffed with Hornady 300 grain BTSPs.

Hope I don't get one,because packing it out is going to be a biotch. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

In case you missed it and you did. I have already put up the money and his lawyer has the paperwork. I don't see him running his mouth. You are just stupid plain and simple.

Dan defended himself well, in his openion. Imagine that. So yer out of here next week huh? Picking up that Nobel prize are you? Yep, sure turned some tables arround here alright. I think you and your lawyer cooked up somthing in those 3 pages that IIFID won't be able to agree to, and that will be your way out. Let's face it Dan, you still loose.

Dan,
Yes,law says you have to bring out all meat, which isn't a problem since our black bears (when not shot just after being ran by hounds)are generaly VERY good eating.

Figure I can bone it out, hang it high in a tree and get it all after three or four trips.

Here's to hopeing I find one within a mile or two of camp. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

That's twice you've spoken to me since you said I was cut off. And, you spoke to T_Lee also. So...yer not a man of your word after all. Am I on the sh:t list or not here Dan. Ya know, it's a real roller-coaster ride with you. One minute IIFID is a low down dirty dog, the next he's a fairly nice guy. One minute you'll never speak to me again, the next you're talking to me again. I just can't live like this anymore Dan. Please, for God sake let me know where I stand.

Moosie,
My hunting plans are always at the last possible moment due to my health-hell,I'm suppose to be out bow hunting right now but can't even get out of the house today.

If you are interested though,I'll tell you where it's at and you can check it out for yourself. There is a very small window of oportunity to hunt it-right at the first of November, right after deer season is over and it's cooled down but before the big rain/snow storms start. You've got bout a week, week and a half of prime hunting time in there though. Before or after is pure hell, trust me,as I've done it before.Had a solid 500 pounder in the scope, finger on the trigger, and then I thought "You know, packing this out of here in 110 degree weather seems like a BAD idea!".

But seriously,if you want a BIG black bear, man, don't waste your time with Kalifornia, head to Alaska.License and tags will be about the same and your travel expenses will be a bit more, but man, you'll see twice as many big bears as you will here for certain, plus you can enjoy world class fishing.

Another one of the many reasons I'm moving to Alaska in the hopefully near future. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

YAH,.,, I'm heading to AK for Moose and Bou in 26 days... for 20 days !!! I'm stoked. I'll have a bear tag but the area I'm going doesn't harbor big bear. I've talked to Sh|tka deer and a few others here.

BK has invited me (Hope that wasn't a secret ?!? He might not want y'all tyo know we talk ? But I'll take the chance <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />) But getting up there is a bit hard. There was 8 of us from our board that went to Sak. Canada with an Outfitter, He posts in the Big game section Casey is his name. Fetchin AWSOME guy and Outfitter !!! He took some 20+ " headed bear. Fuggin toads !!! I passed on alot but took lots of pictures.. Lots of Cam corder time too.. But came home Empty handed.. I did However shoot my 1st bear with a bow in Idaho (Being my 5th bear) this year about 2 weeks before I went to Sask, So My needs to kill weren't at the all time high <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

He wasn't a HOG but my first bear with a bow finally I didn't complain <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />... HERE is some L:inks and Some Video Footage of some BEARS that we had in Idaho this year !!!!! My Bear was on there too.. LOOK on the 2nd page for the bear I shot and the Video of him 1 min before I wacked him...

Here's the MAIN page link for 2003 :

Moosie,
20 days in Alaska?!?!!I don't want to hear any more you braggin SOB! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Yeah,I've talked with Casey quite a bit,he's a fellow 378 nut like me.Keeps beggin me to come up and shoot a bear with him and then gets all flustered when I tell him I can kill one just as big 2 hours from home. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Any bear is a trophy as they're an elusive and cunning creature. They are very human-like in their nature and mind set and I find it enjoyable to be on the same turf with them.
