hello all I picked up a 20 ga stopper side by side cheap for a beater small game gun the choke tubes are frozen in barrel I actually bentbthe wrench trying to remove to see what chokes were in the barrels Any tips or pointers to get them removed so I can see what they are as well as lube them for future removal would be greatly appreciated

Penetrating oil for a few days or weeks. Sane amount of heat on outside near muzzle.

Mike L2 is right. If they still don't budge measure them with dial calipers and see what you have. You might want to just leave them there.

I'd use a heat gun to get the barrels hot. You don't want to melt solder. Get them good and hot with the heat gun, TURN OFF THE HEAT SOURCE, then spray. Don't use a rust eater. It could wash away the bluing.

Kroil in a can, jar, bucket, something.

Stand barrels up, muzzle in liquid, soak for a few days, heat and try to move. If no movement heat and dunk them back in the Kroil for a few more days.

Go about 5 or 6 threads below this one and see what was done to get the tube out of this gun.

This is good advice. As others here said, be very judicious with the heat, if it comes to that. I have freed lots of chokes like this.

OTOH, if you find the constrictions are generally producing patterns you like, leave it alone, or at least avoid the heat.

thank you for all the advice have been oiling and letting it sit gonna keep dropping oil on it give it a few days and see were I am at
