They seem to be all the rage now. For some reason especially edc pry bars which I really don't see the point buying or carrying. I usually carry a small flashlight and a pocket knife. Pocket channel locks seem to be popular are I could see the functionality in carrying those. What are you carrying

I'm retired and don't need a bunch of tools every day. I just carry a small 2.5" pocket knife. If I need more than that, I'm never very far from the shop.

I am about to walk out the door to meet the guys for coffee at the local coffee shop. This is what I will have with me. Nothing was included or omitted for staging this picture. The multi-tool is a Gerber Dime. I carry it because (1) it's tiny and lightweight, (2) I like the spring-loaded pliers--they are strong and precise. You can pull a single hair with them; and (3) I like having a bottle opener and an extra blade. Plus it's only $20 when on sale. And just for giggles, here was my first attempt at the photo:

5” Kershaw pocket knife. 5” ignition pliers. An old Zippo lighter. A small 3A flashlight. Depending on where I’m headed, a 9mm S&W Shield. 7mm

Irving D; Good morning to you sir, I trust the first weekend in March has been kind to you thus far and you're well. These threads are always interesting to me, likely since I'm an admitted gear junkie and get ideas from them. This photo is from a couple years back, but other than replacing the phone holster with a black one now, the gear is the same. The flashlight is an older Olight Baton which I once lost, ordered a replacement for, then found and so have the new one on my "go to down" jeans. The knife is a ZT 0566 with the Elmax steel, again fairly old now. It replaced an 0560 which was just a bit too big. When I'm wandering into town there will be a CRKT Hootenany in my front right pocket instead of the ZT. In the sheath on the right is a little personal scalpel I made up from the tip of a Gerber Balmung fillet knife. It's mostly used to remove slivers and splinters. The sheath at the bottom center is one I made up when the original Leatherman Wave sheath came apart. It's one of the first Waves I saw up here when they first came out. That's it for me for the yard work EDC. Thanks again for the thread and to all who've added their carry items. All the best to you all this weekend. Dwayne

Pocket channel locks seem to be popular are I could see the functionality in carrying those. What are you carrying Victorinox swiss army knife of one model or another for the past 44 years, and I recently added the pocket Knipex version of channel locks. These are actually made for use on hex heads though, as they have parallel flat jaws. I highly recommend them, as if anything, they grip a bolt or nut even tighter than an open end wrench.
