I planned to try some .300 Blackout subs for hog hunting, but was dissatisfied with them.
Experience and suggestions appreciated!
While I have no experience hunting with the .300 BLK, I can share my experience with sub-sonic ammo in a short barrel. First and formost, if you barrel has a 1/8 twist, you cannot expect good accuracy nor can you assume it will stabilize all sub-sonic ammo. My 1/8 PSA upper key holes Gorilla Ammo 220s at 25 yards!
I will update here soon, but I just built a new upper based on a mos-tek barrel with 1/5 twist. I expect it to yield much better accuracy with sub-sonic ammo and my Banish 30.
