Going through a box of old reloading stuff. There's a couple loose dies I have no idea what they are for, googling hasn't helped.

Mainly there's a CH die, with 30 80 RN on it, the threads are over 1in but obviously fits in some kind of a press. RN probably stands for round nose and that part can come off the main die.

Swagger? maybe someone knows.

There's a Forster-Appelt die body standard threads.

An unmarked die with no threads in or out, it tapers inside, some kind of hand loading die?

A Handee loading tool model 210 that I figure is a 20ga hand loader, no luck googling.

Ideas?

Kent

I don't know how many standard die sizes there are, but I have a set of 585 Nyati dies that are between the normal 7/8" and the 50BMG.
I had to get a thread adapter to use it in my BMG press.

It's been many years but I had a full set of C&H bullet making swage dies, it was a 4 die set, IIRC, for making bullets for my 7.65 Mauser pistol. I didn't remember the oversize thread dimension until I read your post, but they did fit the giant Herters press I had, which had a 7/8-14 adapter. I think the swage dies screwed in the press frame. Anyway, the kit made some decent 3/4 jacket bullets for the Mauser broomhandle.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Could be made for the RCBS. it has a 1 1/2"I think in the main casting and a reducing insert to 7/8-14. I've tried to get mine out but it's in tight and I don't want to mess it up so I just leave it there. Don't need it out anyway.

My press is a Herters and the die threads are to small to fit the frame threads when I remove the adapter, I had thought of that, but a different adapter is likely.
