Just watch Simpson ltd website. They had a few last week. Went quick. Like 700 ish
They come up I would say monthly there. They import them.

Do you want to build one? I have a 1640 action with Dakota 3 position safety and Timney trigger. Just needs a barrel and stock to make it a complete rifle.

Thanks all, been watching simpsons for a while and they've been a bit more limited the last year or so and always go about as soon as they get posted it seems Have you given them a call? Sometimes they've got more that they just haven't unpacked/inventoried for the website yet and will tell you about it. (Sometimes they're cranky that you asked lol.)

Are you dead set on a 1640? If not any 30-06 could be sent to JES for a rebore. Many here have had great luck with JES.

Are you dead set on a 1640? If not any 30-06 could be sent to JES for a rebore. Many here have had great luck with JES. I looked into that and read here and elsewhere online that JES won't rebore Husqvarnas because the steel is so hard...
