Nice rifle, looks like a McMillan stocked, Winchester SS in about 300 WM, with a Leupold scope. I can't quite make out who made the compact binoculars.

How can I tell? I can read it on the barrel, that is, after I turned the picture around, as the barrel was stamped on the other side. I don't know what a "winnie" is, unless you are talking about a Winnebago motorhome called the Minni Winnie. I thought, the caliber might be a 300 Winchester Magnum, based on the look of the barrel.

Winnie is short for Winchester, Frankie. I should think a gun God such as yourself would know that. A mensa member should figure it out. Your last statment indicates you haven't been arround guns all that much. Flipping the picture over would NOT let you read the stamping on the other side of the barrel. It would give you a left hand conversion, which would be stupid, since Winnie now makes a left hand M70. So, Mr. President, it looks like we've caught you in yet another lie.

Frankie, Frankie, Frankie. Who said it had to be SS? I just said it would be stupid to convert one when you could just buy a left hander. There you go jumping to conclusions again. It doesn't have to be stainless. There are plenty of noncorrosive coatings you can put on a rifle nowadays. Besides, with your conversion method the stamping on the left side would be reversed. Now Frankie, said he read the barrel by reversing the picture. I thought he was joking, so I said you'd have a LH conversion, why not just buy a LH from Win. He came back with, they don't make them in SS, you moron. So I said, coat it with somthing, that don't rust, and the barrel stamping would be reversed in the picture flip conversion, stupid.
