Who else had this today ?
Not a mainstay, but sure tastes good. Corned beef, cabbage, carrots & potato's in a boiled dinner at our favorite restaurant. Nice meal on a cold wintery day.

Gotta go pick mine up at the Veterans Hall. Wife and kids don’t like it so I gotta fend for myself!

The entire family likes it especially my picky teenage daughter. So may not have it today, but will this weekend.

I make it every year on St. Patrick's Day, and always love it. I eat it between slices of rye bread with mustard and boiled cabbage. Today, for the first time ever, I got one that was flavorless, dry, and stringy. A huge disappointment.

I actually had pastrami and cabbage. Was damned good, though.

I love it on a roll or rye with hot mustard and a kosher dill on the side.

I had corned beef and fried eggs for breakfast. I usually don't eat breakfast. Buy my neighbor has chickens and gave me a bunch yesterday and my wife offered to fry some up for me. We didn't have any bacon handy so she fixed corned beef to go with them.

Looking forward to a toasted dill rye, cabbage, Swiss, horseradish, mustard and corned beef sandwich tonight.

I love corned beef and cabbage. Unfortunately I’m the only one here who does, so I rarely get it.

That was the plan but my DIL and grandson arrived today for a couple of days as my son is knee deep in a hydrocracker turnaround and with her being pregnant that meal was a no no. Instead I made chilaquiles with pork (Cali style like I grew with) and she was fine. Go figure…

Cooking it now. Our daughter is on her way home from work so I’m having her grab me a head of cabbage and carrots. My buddy lives here and he’ll join me as usual for dinner since he and I are the only ones that really like it anyway. 😀

Never cared for corned beef. I ate it, as a kid, but since being a (so-called ) adult and able to have more say about what I eat we never have it at our house. Very occasionally find myself faced with it and will graciously eat it, but I try to avoid it.
