Heading out by buffalo next week for work, rather Dunkirk properly. Looking to see if any of you have suggestions on places to eat things to see in evening. Thanks

Maybe catch a Buffalo Sabres game if they're in town?

Lucia's Restaurant is highly regarded.....

As already mentioned a ride up to Niagara Falls is certainly worth it.

Don't bring any ice fishing gear, we have no ice.

Andersens...roast beef sandwich, custard ice cream, lemon ice.

Charlie The Butcher...beef on weck.

Any mom and pop Italian deli for subs...

Anchor Bar...birth place of the Buffalo wing but plenty of other GREAT wing places.

I can come up with more...like German or polish food?

My fav pizza place was off of Eggert rd by my grandparents place. I'd have to ask my mom for the name.

Great fish fries in the summer.

Was the pizza place Leonardi's? If so, sadly they closed a few years ago by choice. Charlie The Butcher is a mile from my house and although my wife likes it, its not my favorite. La Nova or Bocce are top notch pizza......

Anderson's is great (3 miles from me!) and a long time favorite in the area. They have a great BBQ sandwich and even better roast beast. Pretty sure they make their own ice cream.

This is fish fry season, 100% balls to the wall for Lent. Every Friday fish fries are hot.

Watkins Glen has an amazing waterfall you can climb. After a heavy rain it is spectacular. The Finger Lakes are beautiful. Skaneateles is the perfect small town America of yore. We haven't seen all the lakes. Skipped the falls on account of urban sprawl and traffic

They say everything happens for a reason.
For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Agreed - the Canadian side is a much more impressive view.

Anchor Bar - itโ€™s worth the stop.

Duffs - the โ€œotherโ€ original buffalo wing place - depending on who you ask.

Could have been...they lived at 148 Eggert road if I remember correctly. The pizza place was close as I remember it.

I only do the roast beef with horseradish at Andersons and they do make their own ice cream.

Ah memories. I gotta get back!

Another vote for Niagara Falls from the Canadian side if you have time. The view is much better than from the American side.
