I guess everyone wants to wear green wool and be just like Hal Blood. Why the aversion to having a full length 7600 cut down to carbine length? A gunsmith could cut the barrel, crown the muzzle, and reinstall the front sight for not a lot of money. The full length 7600’s are going fairly cheap, no where near what factory carbines are bringing.

OP khovis33 Campfire Member K Joined: Jan 2022 Posts: 391 PA	miguel- I get it... I am only interested in factory carbines. I have a few, just looking to add to my collection. I hunt in the hardwoods of PA where most shots are between 50-75 yds away.

Never got so I really liked them myself. Hell, I dropped my 94 trapper in the snow one time climbing a hill in the Adirondacks. Cold ass day. By the time I finished the drive, I couldn’t open the action to unload gun. Shot in to a tree to break it loose. Any gun can freeze.
