I may have a chance to buy a fair condition 783 Mag. bolt action. Tube fed, full length magazine. Mechanically very sound. It had a few spots of surface rust that cleaned up well. Bore looks good. Has the pressed checkering. I'm curious what they are worth.

They held at $350 for years. Auctions have been mostly in the $400-500 range lately. JM guns are likely to continue increasing in value.

I had one, probably the best shooting .22mag. I ever owned. I should have never sold it.

Have a love affair going with mine. Only had it for about 40 years.

Fair condition probably still 350-400. I had one and the 883 and the plain 25m. Only have the 25 now
