I've been making a few spearing decoys, learning a lot with each one. Picked my deer head up yesterday from my taxidermist. I'm thinking I should have gotten a shoulder mount maybe, he's bigger than I remembered, I don't usually have that problem!

Good morning everyone. Just wondering what everyone has been up to. I'm getting ready to plant food plots and prep for tree planting. Car shopping for the boy since he's old enough now. Crazy how time flies.

There sure are a lot of America haters that want to live here...
Yeah he's had his learners permit since August, gets his advanced permit in a month so he can drive by himself from 6am-10pm. He gets his full blown license in August. It's crazy to think! He's a good driver and careful so I'm not super worried, but as a dad I'm still a little worried. They gotta grow up sometime though I guess. He's almost as tall as me, likes to steal my clothes lol.

Not a ton. I have a Kibler I need to get put together but was helping my son with his Petersolli. Also been doing a lot of wheeling/dealing on snowmobiles as end of season deals are to be had.
Can't get on the property yet but once I can - scouting for the next batch of logging to be done. Want that over with sooner than later.

Well now we have someone to drive us around while we drink beer and look for deer!
First tournament is in a few days, I haven't wet a line since August, just too busy with the new property. Hoping to get all my food plots in by the end of the week, it's getting a little late for corn but I'm gonna try anyway. Worst case it doesn't fill completely but I'm not planting them for top yield.
