It caught me.
Anybody else sick? It’s been over 3 years since I even had a cold! Sucks big time. And to add insult to injury, the damn test is made in China. Thanks Joe. I believe we will all catch it soon or later. I went over 2 years before I got sick didn't take no test refuse to let them stick that swab up my nose. We got (4) tests sent to us for free, maybe 2 years ago. Courtesy of our .gov. Never used them until the wife came home from a business trip in Florida. A day at home and she’s sick. Not end of the world sick. Not OMG, I need to sound the alarm and call a doc sick - just a good ole fashioned cold/flu. I came down with whatever she had a couple days later. I hadn’t been really sick in 6-7 years. Since we both had what appeared to be the same crud, and she had been traveling. I made wifey swab her beak. Covid was the test’s response. Oh, No!!! We didn’t alert Fauci. We didn’t contact the CDC. We didn’t make changes to our wills. We used one free Covid test we had on hand and got on with life. I still went hunting. The wife still went to work via video conferencing calls. We were both sick for 11 days. Neither of us could point to any symptoms with Covid that were different or more unpleasant to deal with than having a normal type flu bug, we all used to catch annually, semiannually, or every few years. The only thing I guess that was different, was the length of time being sick. IIRC my cold/flu bugs used to last 5-7 days. This bug didn’t get done with us until the 11th day. 🦫 I hear ya, I was down for 2 weeks and took a few months for my lungs to clear up. Had a bad case of post nasal drip also.

Did you see the actual test results are were you just told that you had it? If you'd seen the actual test results it still says "This test is not approved by the FDA."

Unless you have other health problems, I’d not be too concerned. Get some zinc supplements and start eating them. Supposedly it interferes with the virus’s ability to replicate. My sister put me to taking it when I caught it a couple years ago and I kicked it in about 48 hours without any major problems. Hope you get to feeling better soon!

I had the same problem after taking an antibiotic for an infected finger. After it happened I read the possible side effects of this antibiotic and one was: "Lost of sense of taste and smell, may be permanent".

I snowmachined to a village clinic today as I was gasping and totally clogged up. They tested me for Covid and was negative,, a bit more prodding and listening and said pneumonia,, Amoxicillan & Predisone and good as new soon!! I'd spent a week at meetings in town and around people,,,does it every time.

9/20 got sick, Bedfast for the weekend, on Tuesday I couldn't taste or smell. Was feeling better, but still down. Saw Doc,she said sinus infection, and gave antibiotics. Didn't even suggest the test. Took months to recover taste and smell, never regained 100%.
Right before deer season last year ithought I had a sinus infection. Then got a nasty cough. That's normal for me following a respiratory issue and docs used to give me prednisone and an opiate cough medicine with a call. Same doc as last time, I had to go in.
Doc wanted a test, not sure why i agreed. Have bucked Covid from the start. It was positive.
The time it was confirmed I wasn't bad sick, just the cough after. Which was pretty normal for my bad coughs after a cold.
The after effects sucked. The first month I had the fog, couldn't compute right. Was lethargic, tired easy. It took several months to get my wind back.
Last night I was fast walking up the hill in out yard and realized it didn't bother me and I wasn't huffing and puffing.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
