Well, my wife did when she met me some years ago!

Great guns. Is the top one a Remington rolling block? I've wished for one for years but haven't seen one that I thought I could afford. Have had to be satisfied with Contenders.

Wonderful. Nicely balanced pistols, accurate, steady holding, with sweet triggers - completely overlooked/ignored by people worshiping at the altar of black plastic and high capacity. The only thing I don't like about them is the money they command anymore, taking them out of the hands of we shooters and burying them in collections. If you ever shot one of those things you would know what I'm talking about.

Yes sir rolling block… supposedly just over 700 made.
It’s got a fantastic trigger and is my favorite of the three, were I forced to choose

Gnoahhh… they aren’t on every corner and when you find them, you’re gonna have to pony up that’s for sure.
But I am not a collector and rest assured all of those pictured see steady rotation on rimfire days

Neat stuff!

But wait.... Not familiar with the Colt but have a strange feeling it's another gun that Ruger borrowed a design from for the single shot Hawkeye.

You need to add the H&R 195/USRA to that nice collection.

Beautiful. I'd love to know the full story on that one, from Ilion to your hands. The first owner certainly didn't wear it out!

Cert,

That rolling Block is very nice. I passed a couple up through the years .....if they were just near that shape I woulda owned 'em.

I would put that pistol on my desk to just admire ............

Best,

Chuck

Thanks guys…
I’m not “that” old, but I can and do appreciate the way things used to be built

Cisco I would too but I had to sell the desk to afford the gun!
